About Mayhem Mode
Mayhem Mode is not controlled by PARADOX. It serves as a continuous source of volatility and a stress-testing environment for the stabilization mechanism.
Mayhem activity may push price below the target band. When this occurs, the stabilizer uses reserves to buy and burn PDX. No assumptions about Mayhem profitability are made.
The stabilizer operates with finite reserves. If reserves reach zero, stabilization halts. The market continues freely. No emergency measures are taken. No minting occurs.
PARADOX remains a stablecoin by targeting a price band and actively defending the downside using reserves and burns, without ever minting or expanding supply.
